Since our Corporate Report will educate us on greening, I thought the following blog might give us some information to ponder. http://www.treehugger.com/?reload=true The above picture comes from the blog.
Some things I liked about this blog are as follows:
1. wide range of topics and information on going green from food, fasion, oil sands
2. helps one be informed about development
3. gives links to other blogs/websites
4. it is educational
Two things I disliked about the blog are first, I found it too graphic in areas, and secondly, too many links

The picture comes from The Party Dress. A friend of mine introduced me to this Blog. It has some real fun ideas for kids/adult get-togethers.
2. All the color gives me a happy feeling
3. It is catagorized
DISLIKES: 1. I get tempted to purchase from advertisements
2. The ideas are so good and fun to look at that I spend too much time on it.
This is a picture from Country Living Magazine.
Although this Blog is not as colorful as "The Party Dress" blog, I found I my likes and dislikes about the blog similar.

This is a snap shot of our babysitter and her puppy Molly. Their family blog is Echoes Of Laughter.

The blog title tells alot about this family and their blog. The family is well connected and spend much time together having fun. They are just great people! Since they are the only family members in the West, I like how they are able to share their happenings with friends and family in Nova Scotia. Since this blog is on a personal level, I find it tough to find flaws with it.

  1. I love the treehugger blog, it is very inforamtive, and suprisingly accessible. I have gone through quite a number of articles and i am happy to see people still can completely disagree but still be cordial. An example is the issue with the rot-proof apple. Refreshing and informative. Thanks for this.

  3. Hello Pam,

About the treehugger page. In my opinion, I think that the page has good information about the environment. I also like the fact that there are many links to other interesting pages. Finally I like how people can share the fascinating information on their facebook and other communicating websites by clicking on the toolbar above the article.

On the other hand, I think this website needs a little bit of editting done on it.

1.Take out some of the ads because they are very distracting and draw our attention away from what we are reading and to the ad.

2.Second, the background color is ok, but I think it needs to be more colorful rather than gray.

  4. The personal blog though a great idea, i cannot help but feel the family is exposed. I did not see whether one needs a password to view this blog, i did not need one.

Like you said her family is out East and can keep to date with events. But that said, I am not sure if that is worth the exposure.

  5. Beautiful pictures Pam, and very nice job. I like what you did very much. It makes me feel that the Christmas is coming so soon. Everyone are happy together with friends and families, oh and pets, too. Family members sit together happily at a table and share delicious food and snacks. The fire is burning warmly in the fire wall. That's the happiest time in a year.
