Reproduction Literacy
Reproduction literacy is one of the digital technologies. It reproducts and recreates the acedemic works or arts to new forms of texts, visuals, or audios. It seem so complicated and requires high technical skills. Actually, it's commenly used in schools, offices and other institutions. As a student, we use to do research and find articles on internet by computers, then we create some critical ideas and reorganize the articles on powerpoint. It is an example of reproduction literacy. We reproducts the acedemic work (articles) to a new form of visual (powerpoint). Those are what I learned for digital literacy. What I want to say is that feel free to use the digital technology. Everyone in our class has the skills to apply the "complecated" digital literacy in our daily life.

This is true Wendy, Reproduction literacy seemed difficult, but we have been using it in our school lives. I do worry though about plegarism and copright laws. How much can we safely change one form to another. In this class more than any other class i am perfecting my digital reproduction skills.
ReplyDeleteYou and Anna had a great presentation by the way
Wendy, I agree that we all have the ability to work with the digital skills. I feel fortunate that technology has advanced so far since I was young and that the quality is so much better. As we know there is only 24 hours in the day. I, therefore worry what social skills the young are going to miss out on if they get too engaged with technology.
ReplyDeleteAs I commented on Hazvineyi posting, I am worried about the "Next"ers too. It is true, that young people spend to much time on computers. Sometimes it can be dangerous too because when they are loading new programs or games they have to fill out some information or questions that may involve personal things.
